Window Cleaning in Littleover, Derby - Job Analysis

Since I moved over to Derby and built up a round again, i have gained a lot in the south Derby region, one of those areas being Littleover. This particular window cleaning job needed a good cleaning as it hadn't been touched in a long time.

After the customer happily accepted the quote, i headed to the 3rd floor to climb out of the window as it was the best access to these windows. As you can see from the picture, these had so much organic growth that had become thick and stuck to the sill. Using a lot of soap, dwell time and scrubbing equipment i was able to get these windows and sills shining again. Due to the difficult access to these top windows it was best for me to clean them traditionally, that being with soap and squeegee. I always still carry traditional window cleaning equipment for inside window cleaning and for when situations like this arise. I am always prepared to reach any window anywhere.

The rest of the house windows were cleaned using the water fed pole method as the access and type of windows were better for this style of window cleaning. The customer was very happy with the result and has had us regularly since.
I would normally recommend water fed pole window cleaning for most windows as the finish will last longer. This is due to there being nothing left on the window after cleaning, whereas traditional will leave a small amount of soap on the windows which can mix with rain to create spots much faster after cleaning. In some situations traditional is just the best option and will still get the window clean.
Since this fist clean i have also been able to talk to the customer about his patio to give advice on how to clean, sand and possibly seal it after. I'm always happy to have a chat with regular customers and to give advice in their own cleaning. No gatekeeping here when its something i know is safe for a customer to do themselves.
