Preparing for the Cleaning Process

We were working with glass panels here rather than plastic which are much harder to give a perfect finish to, which is why we need the traditional window cleaning kit.

Cleaning off organic matter and hardened deposits is much easier when cleaning agents have had longer to sit and break them down. Applying these first and agitating with water helps make the whole job easier on the main clean.

Step 3: Scrub and rinse

Now the main part of cleaning, using constant water through the water fed pole window cleaning system. We scrubbed anything tougher deposits but most of the roof just needed water mixing with the water and detergent. Detergent particularly helps to grab any dirt and bits, decreasing friction between the pane and the dirt so that it can be rinsed off easier after ward.

Step 4: Final Clean of the Roof and work down

We finished by rinsing most areas with pure water but some needed a traditional window cleaning finish to ensure a professional finish due to the angled glass. Either way when used correctly leads to a clean pane.

Step 5: Clean the Gutters Frames and Windows to Finish

Working down we then cleaned the gutter PVC, frames and windows so that the whole conservatory was sparkling clean. The customer was very happy again. This took around 1.5 hours to do. Conservatory roof cleaning can be very time consuming and often takes longer than most people imagine.
